THEORIES
the other day, this guy was talking to me about color and light and some of the reasons he thinks we can't see colors when there is no light. he then says,
"that's my theory."
i say, "i always like your theories."
he says, "i think everyone should have at least one theory a day. scientists probably should have a lot more than that. but other people should have at least one a day."
i think his theories are awesome.

TODAY'S THEME: LUCKY!
(it is march, after all, and st. patrick's day is fast approaching!)
LUCKY FOR:
1. music. so lucky to have a musical husband, a guy who likes to play music as well as listen to a wide and eclectic range of artists.
2. boys who still want to cuddle in the morning.
3. remodeling. we're very lucky to be able to do projects on our home that make it a happier place for all of us.
4. this man. he's a gem. a keeper. the best of the best. the cheese to my macaroni.
5. education. lucky to have been given a good education, and lucky to have the time to learn new things through internet education.
6. toys! we have PLENTY, and for that, we are lucky.
7. a new smartphone. still getting the hang of it, but man oh man, is it delightful!
8. my ride. lucky we are able to have good, safe cars to cart our kiddos around in.
9. hobbies. i've got the support, supplies, space, and time needed to feed my creative soul.
10. these guys. i'm the luckiest mom around. no ifs, ands, or buts about it.
11. my home and neighborhood. we live in a wonderful area, in a happy home that's just right for us.
12. technology! and most specifically, tv and netflix streaming.
lucky i am, indeed.

EZRA TURNS ONE!
our little peanut pack nephew ezra turned the big O-N-E last month.
here he is with his mommy (my sister) and his very own pillsbury dough boy cake. there's a story behind that cake but i'll save that for another time.
ezra is seriously one of the most wonderful little guys ever. he has this personality that just draws you in. little bugger.
i brought some of the decorations for the shindig, but perhaps the best decorations were two balloon bouquets that our other amazing nephew, camden, attached himself to before the party even began. he carried those suckers around for several hours. seriously, i think he let go maybe twice. and each time for like a second. and then he'd grab them and off he'd go again. it was awesome. we called them travelling decorations. i think we could hire him out for parties. i really do.
